quote, not an estimate. An estimate is an open door to
trouble. Low ball estimates often win the bidding but
usually cost more in the long run. It's kind of hard
to tell the contractor you're not going to pay
for the new roof sheeting that should have been
figured into the estimate after your roof's torn off!
A clearly written
fully detailed work proposal is the only way we do
business. If it's not in writing you could be in for a
fight. A well written proposal protects everyone.
